The final lecture of the 2018 President’s Leadership Lecture series with President David Galloway took place on 14 November 2018 at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

The Finlayson Lecture, entitled Enigmata ad Infinitum explored some of the difficulties and questions which emerge from the clinical realm, through basic physiology, including some of the most perplexing unsolved issues which underpin our understanding.

President, David Galloway said “I want to open up the discussion about the ‘enigmata’ which is perhaps not often explored in clinical practise but that engages my interest in wondering about things and applying the scientific method to the kind of questions or enigmata that we face’.
