On successful completion of either of the Postgraduate Diplomas below, diplomates can progress on to a final course of study, offered by Glasgow Caledonian University. This is a 60-credit dissertation module, completed over two trimesters in a six-month period. The dissertation would build on the work begun during your Postgraduate Diploma, resulting in an MSc, demonstrating your clinical and academic professionalism.

This course consists of eight postgraduate modules delivered over a period of 18 months and will be delivered using a blended model of two residential elements and online interactive learning. Those who complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Travel Medicine will be eligible to be admitted to the College as members of the Faculty of Travel Medicine and able to use the post nominal MFTM RCPS(Glasg).

This qualification will provide practitioners with knowledge and understanding of travel medicine in relation to the core aspects of travel health. The course is delivered entirely online using electronic modules with self-directed study. Students will have access to a Tutor Group, who will provide guidance throughout the programme.

The programme aims to develop practitioners who are able to make sound clinical and situational judgements in environments and situations prone to rapid change and uncertain outcomes. This course will offer students the chance to gain a fully recognised qualification, whilst also having the opportunity to travel to challenging locations both in the UK and Morocco.
