New European Specialty Exam in Gastroenterology and Hepatology announced.

This change will happen from January 2018 and the application period will open on 27 December 2017.

The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom has announced at the current Specialty Certificate Exam in Gastroenterology and European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Examination (EBGHE) will become a single examination which will be referred to as the European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ESEGH). This change means that all candidates, either in UK training programmes, in Europe (UEMS states) and the wider international community will sit the same exam.
This change will happen from January 2018 and the application period will open on 27 December 2017.
