SIGN - Patient Version - Autism

A booklet has been produced for young people of high school age who may have autism, or have already been diagnosed with autism, and explains the advice for healthcare professionals on how to help people with autism.

The booklet looks at:

  • assessment and diagnosis of autism, and
  • what can help people with autism

This is the second of three patient booklets that SIGN are producing for autism.

The booklet for adults was published in December 2016 and the one for parents/carers will be published in March 2017.
