International Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine

2016 sees the launch of the new Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine - a course aimed at those looking to develop their knowledge and skills in this specialist area. Structured in conjunction with the Oxford Handbook of Expedition and Wilderness Medicine, the Diploma will offer students the chance to gain a fully recognised qualification, whilst also having the opportunity to travel to challenging locations both in the UK and Morocco, covering topics such as;

  • Infectious disease, travel medicine and global health (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK)
  • Tropical and maritime (Dartington Hall, Devon, UK)
  • Cold and mountainous environments (Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore, UK)
  • High altitude and desert (Aroumd and surrounding area, Morocco)
