UK Physicians’ Census
We continue to work with the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh and London to develop a comprehensive annual snapshot of the workforce challenges facing physicians across the UK. You can find the full report here.
Supporting professional activities
Our College continues to raise the issue of erosion of the healthy balance in time spent between direct clinical care and supporting professional activities with government and employers. We’ll continue to highlight this issue over the months and years to come.
The College is represented on a number of Scottish Government groups which look at workforce planning, including the National Workforce Planning Group and the Workforce Senior Leadership Group.
What we stand for
Together we are demanding action to address workforce shortages and implement solutions to help reduce staff burnout.
Who we are
We are a worldwide community of inspiring health professionals working together to advance our profession and improve patient care.
What we do
Over the past year we’ve made great advances in professionalising our approach to engaging more effectively with government, parliament and the wider health sector.
