Scholarship Committee Member

Expressions of interest are invited to fill a maternity cover vacancy until 1 October 2023 on the College’s Scholarship Committee as an Ordinary Surgical member.

The main role and responsibilities of the Committee, which meets 3 times per year, are to:

• review and score all applications received for each award administered by the College
• review and update where appropriate the eligibility criteria for each award
• review reports from all award recipients
• authorise payments and approve payment schedules for successful applicants
• monitor the financial position and available funding for each award
