Am I eligible to join the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine as an Affiliate Member?
Anyone with at least five years clinical experience in podiatric medicine (post Health and Care Professionals (HCPC) registration). For international applications, it would be five years clinical experience post registration with the governing body of your country.
Full-time postgraduate students who are completing a degree in podiatric medicine are also eligible for affiliate membership.
How much does it cost to join as an Affiliate Member?
Affiliate membership costs £15 a year.

How can I pay for my membership?
There are several ways to pay. Most people like to make a single payment for the year using a credit/debit card, however you can also pay by direct debit either monthly or annually.
Does it matter that I didn’t study and don’t live in Glasgow?
No, it doesn’t. Affiliate Members can live, work and hold qualifications from almost anywhere in the world. If you’re in doubt, our Membership team can help.
What events does the College host for Affiliate Members?
The College runs multiple courses and conferences through the year to cover all aspects of your early medical career. Many of these will carry CPD points and run poster competitions to help you stand out and secure key training posts. As an Affiliate Member you get up to 40% off many events you book via the College website.
