How to log in

How do I log in?

Visit our log in page and enter your details. You can log in with your PID and your email address.

You can also log in by clicking on the Login button on the top; you will then just need to enter your details.

Where do I find my PID?

You can find your PID in any communication with the College. If you still can't find your PID, you can log in using your email address. You will then find your PID in your Dashboard.

Where do I find my Username?

From December 2020, Usernames can no longer be used to log in, but you can still use your PID and your email address.

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by using your PID or your email address. You will then need to follow the instructions in the password reset email you have received. Please allow up to five minutes in case you haven't received your password reset email and don't forget to check your Spam/Junk/Promotions folder too.

The link in the password reset email doesn't work. What do I do now?

The link in the password reset email will expire after a certain period of time. Please try to reset your password again.

I haven't received my password reset email. What do I do now?

Please try to reset your password by using your PID. If you can't still find your password reset email, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

The log in functionality of the website is not working. What do I do now?

If your details are correct and you are not able to log in, please make sure that the browser you are using has JavaScript enabled and that you are not using ads blocker plugins. In order to check your browser settings, please follow the links below:

Email Troubleshooting

I haven't received my activation email. What do I do now?

If you can't find your activation email in your inbox, please wait at least five minutes and don't forget to check your Spam/Junk/Promotions folder too. If the problem persists, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

I can't remember my email address. Can I still log in?

You can still log in with your PID. You can find your PID in any communication with the College. After you have logged in to your Dashboard, you can change your email address by updating your contact details.

My email address is invalid or it has been deactivated. Will I still be able to log in?

Please make sure that the format of your email address is correct. You can still log in with your PID. You can find your PID in any communication with the College.

My email address is already in use by another account. Can I still log in?

Please make sure that you are using the correct email address. If you believe you are using the correct email address, try to reset your password or log in with your PID. If you are unable to log in, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

I have an old nhs.net email address. Can I still log in?

You can still log in with your old email address as long as you remember your password. After you have logged in to your Dashboard, you can change your email address by updating your contact details. If you don't remember your password and you would like to change your email address, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

How do I change my email address?

After you have logged in to your Dashboard, you can change your email address by updating your contact details. Please note that you will need to activate your new email address by clicking on the activation link that will be sent automatically by the College. If you can't find your activation email, please wait at least five minutes and don't forget to check your Spam/Junk/Promotions folder too.

Account Troubleshooting

My account has been archived or disabled. Can I still log in?

You can't log in if your account has been archived or disabled. Please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form and your issue will be investigated by our team.

I can't register, login or reset my password. What do I do now?

If this is not your first visit on the website, please try to log in using your PID or your email address; you can find your PID in any communication with the College. If you are trying to register an account on the website, please make sure you are using a valid email address. You can try to reset your password by using your PID or your email address. If you still can't log in or register, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form and your issue will be investigated by our team.


Account Registration

My email address is already in use. Can I still register?

If your email address is already in use, you can't register a new account. However, you can log in using either your email address or your PID. If you don't remember your password, please try to reset your password.

I haven't received my activation email. What do I do now?

If you can't find your activation email in your inbox, please wait at least five minutes and don't forget to check your Spam/Junk/Promotions folder too. If the problem persists, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

I can't register because my password is not being accepted. What do I do now?

Please make sure that your password:

  • Is at least 8 characters long.
  • Contains at least one capital letter.
  • Contains at least one number.
  • Contains at least one special character (e.g. @, #, !, ?, &).
  • Doesn't contain your name or common words (e.g. password, 123, football)
  • Doesn't start or end with a blank space.

You can check what requirement(s) you are not meeting by looking at what of the above condition is not green in the registration form. If you need help with your account registration, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

My old account has been archived. Can I register a new account?

If you believe your account has been deactivated or archived, please contact us selecting "Website and Log In" in the contact form.

Why do you ask for my date of birth?

We ask for your date of birth in order to verify your identity securely and to avoid duplication of your data. You can find more information about this on our Privacy Policy page.


Membership

How do I pay my membership subscription online?

You can pay your subscription online via your Dashboard. Click on "My Membership" and proceed with your payment. If you don't have an online account, please register here.

Can I pay my membership subscription by Direct Debit?

Yes, if you have a UK bank account you can pay your subscription by Direct Debit, either annually or in monthly installments. The majority of our eligible members find this the most convenient way to pay.

Can I amend my Direct Debit?

You can amend or cancel your Direct Debit via your Dashboard. You can find the details of your Direct Debit on the "My Membership" page.

Can I claim tax back on my membership subscription?

If you live in the United Kingdom, your annual subscription is an allowable deduction for Income Tax purposes. You can login to your dashboard and download a your receipts from the My Receipts page.

Can I join the College online?

Yes, you can join the College by completing our new online application forms. Click here to find out more.

My membership has been lapsed. How do I re-join the College?

You can re-join the College via your Dashboard. Click on "My Membership" and complete the re-join application form.

How do I request verification of my membership?

You can do this via your Dashboard. Click on "My Membership" and complete the form to request your verification online.

How do I access my membership benefits?

You can do this via your Dashboard. Click on "My Membership Benefits" to see the list of your benefits and access them.


Marketing Preferences

How do I subscribe to the College emails?

To subscribe to the College emails, log in to your Dashboard and visit the "Keep in Touch" page. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for your preferences to be updated.

I want to unsubscribe from the College emails. How do I do this?

You can do this via your Dashboard. Click on "Keep in Touch" and unselect the emails you don't want to receive anymore.

How do I update my profile photo and biography?

You can update your profile from your Dashboard. Simply visit the "My Biography" page and complete the form.

I want to be part of the #thisiswhoweare campaign. What do I need to do?

Make sure that you have uploaded a photo and that you have responded to the questions in the "My Biography" form. To be featured in the College social media pages, you need to consent to the content you have provided being used for marketing purposes.
