HMRC have recently confirmed that JCST (Joint College of Surgical Training) fees are now tax deductible.
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow offers a service to all trainees that allows them to combine their JCST fee with their subscription fees in a direct debit payment. The complete payment now qualifies as a tax deductible expense.

The college is currently seeking clarification from HMRC regarding JRCPTB fees.
