Mahua Chakrabarti elected as new Chair of college Trainees’ Committee

Mahua Chakrabarti has been elected to serve as the new Chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow’s Trainees’ Committee.
Mahua Chakrabarti has been elected to serve as the new Chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow’s Trainees’ Committee.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Ms Chakrabarti is currently based in the city’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Speaking after her election at the May meeting of the committee, Ms Chakrabarti said:
“It’s a great privilege to have been elected by my peers to lead the College’s work to support trainees. I look forward to playing a full role within the College to ensure that trainees play a full role in their own training and development, and to open up this important work to an ever wider number of our profession.”
