The Institute of Health and Wellbeing, University of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow are collaborating in a series of seminars on medical history, medical humanities and related topics.

Tuesday 7 October 2014: Emeritus Professor Robert Downie, ‘Medical Humanities: Origins, Uses and Wrong Directions’.
Tuesday 4 November 2014: Dr Angus Ferguson, ‘Private and Confidential? A history of concerns over the collection and use of patient information’.
Tuesday 9 December 2014: Dr David Shuttleton, ‘Dr William Cullen’s Consultations: an Eighteenth-Century Epistolary Practice’.
All seminars will take place in the Library Reading Room at 5.30 pm. Coffee/tea and biscuits from 5.00 pm.
