Professor Jackie Taylor, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, has expressed her sadness over the death of Dr Clifford Mann OBE, former President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Professor Jackie Taylor, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, has expressed her sadness over the death of Dr Clifford Mann OBE, former President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Professor Taylor said:
“I am saddened to hear of the loss of Dr Clifford Mann OBE and express my deepest sympathy for his family and colleagues.
“Dr Mann was a was a leading figure in Emergency Medicine and much respected by everyone. He was closely associated with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) having been President of the College between 2013 and 2016, and formerly College Registrar between 2010 and 2013. His work in developing the field of emergency medicine is renowned both at the College and through his work as a consultant at the Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.”
