This is in line with similar decisions taken over the past few days for our medical and surgical activities. Our College has a leadership responsibility to support frontline patient care, and to ensure that all healthcare professionals are not taken away from your important work at this time.
The Dental Deans of the Royal Colleges in the UK and Ireland are due to meet with the General Dental Council and leads of the Joint Committee for Postgraduate Training in Dentistry on Wednesday 18th March to discuss what further action is required to provide clarity for all levels of dental trainees on their future training pathways . We will issue a further statement upon conclusion of these discussions.
