College News – Winter 2016

09 Dec 2016

The latest edition of College News is out now.

The Winter 2016 edition of College News is now available.

Our cover story in this issue focuses on whistleblowing; health professionals’ duty of care to speak up on issues around patient safety, and the potential impact that raising concerns can have on an individual if they are not supported through the process. The article follows a conference held in College in September, Whistleblowing: Freedom to Speak Out, led by our new Vice President (Dental), Professor Graham Ogden.

This issue covers College activity around antimicrobial resistance, provides details of events and examinations, including our fourth triennial conference Excellence in Healthcare in 2017, and more. It also contains the usual updates from each of the Faculties.
