Changes to Part 1 and Part 2 written examination fees from diet 4 2022

The MRCP(UK) examinations are recognised around the world as quality benchmarks of medical knowledge, attitudes, and clinical skills. The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is committed to the continuous improvement of our assessments to ensure the remain relevant and up to date ensuring the best possible care for patients by highly skilled physicians.

The Federation has taken the decision to increase exam fees from the 2022/04 diet. This increase will apply to candidates sitting Parts 1 and 2 of the MRCP(UK) diploma in the UK and internationally. The fees will increase by £12 to £460 for UK candidates and by £8 to £616 for international candidates.

Continuing inflation in the UK has necessitated this increase, impacting on operating costs that have risen this year. The Federation remains committed to reviewing exam costs on a regular basis and to be as transparent as possible over fees and how this income is used. We are continuing with a programme to invest in new technologies that will future-proof our systems and support our staff to provide high-quality, cost-effective customer service for all those taking examinations, undertaking medical training and maintaining their continuing professional development expect.
