The American College of Surgeons has announced two international scholarship programmes for surgeons from countries other than the United States, its Possessions or Canada.

p>The American College of Surgeons has announced two international scholarship programmes for surgeons from countries other than the United States, its Possessions or Canada.

The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program offers International ACS NSQIP Scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each for two international surgeons who demonstrate strong interests in surgical quality improvement. Full information on these scholarships can be found at http://www.facs.org/memberservices/isnsqip.html (closing date 14 February 2014).

The International Guest Scholarships are offered in the amount of $10,000 each for 12 international surgeons to attend the Annual Clinical Congress of the ACS, and then visit several surgical institutions of interest to them. Details of the International Guest Scholarships 2015 can be found at http://www.facs.org/memberservices/igs.html (closing date 1 July 2014).
