Become an ISFE Examiner

We are looking for consultants based in the UK or Ireland to join our examiner panel.

This is a valuable opportunity for professional development and to contribute to the future of the dental profession.

The Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examinations (ISFEs) are summative assessments intended to test a candidate’s knowledge, understanding, skills and attitude. The assessments are relevant to the practice of a consultant who has completed their specialty training (including post-CCST training as appropriate) in an approved training programme in the UK or Ireland in their relevant specialty. Due to this link to training pathways, examiner vacancies are only open to those holding consultant status in the UK or in Ireland.

Successful applicants will be required to attend an ISFE Training Day before examining. The next training day is due to be held in Winter 2024.

Examiners are needed for the following Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examinations:

  • Dental Public Health
  • Oral Medicine
  • Oral Surgery
  • Orthodontics
  • Paediatric Dentistry
  • Restorative Dentistry
