Biography
Naomi has been lucky enough to travel as an expedition leader to captivating places across the globe, from the Himalayan mountains to the jungles of South America and Alaska’s remote wilderness. Her enthusiasm for expedition medicine ignited her passion to study medicine as a psychology graduate, and she is now working as an anaesthesia registrar in the North of Scotland. Her most recent adventures have taken her to cycle 3000km down New Zealand and work as a TV doctor in Greenland and Fiji.
She is an active member of the Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team and coordinates medical training for Scottish Mountain Rescue. She is a qualified Summer, Winter and International Mountain Leader. She enjoys sharing her love for mountain medicine, teaching on various wilderness medicine and mountaineering courses.
