Biography
Lucy is a GP and A&E staff grade in the Southwest, with a passion for running hospital partnerships in Kenya. Lucy set up her first clinic in Kenya in 1997 before starting medical school, and has since founded the charity EGHO (Exploring Global Health Opportunities), which supports a number of health and social programs throughout Kenya.
An expedition and sports enthusiast, Lucy obtained a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and now lectures on the subject. She found her niche working with disabled and challenging groups, and has worked with Help for Heroes, Catch 22, Back2ski and a variety of other charities in various expeditions to the Himalayas, Africa, Central and South America and Scandinavia.
Lucy thrives on supporting individuals and helping them to achieve the immense challenges they set themselves.
