Colin Forbes

Colin graduated from Glasgow Dental School in 2005 and completed his MFDS in 2007. Having initially completed GPT and then spending time in General Practice, Colin completed several Senior House Officer rotations in various departments within Glasgow Dental School. He returned to General Practice for several years and, during this time, was appointed as a Specialty Dentist in Restorative Dentistry on a part time basis in 2013. After a period of combining his General Practice and Specialty Dentist roles, Colin has been a full time Specialty Dentist in Restorative Dentistry since 2016. His Specialty Dentist role provides NHS and University opportunities and he has been Deputy Co-ordinator for BDS4 since 2018. Colin enjoys both the clinical and academic demands of his job and is looking forward to serving on the Faculty of Dental Surgery Executive Board.
