Vijay Arora

Prof (Dr.) Vijay Arora is a Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgeon in New Delhi.
A graduate of Calcutta Medical College, he trained for his master degree at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
He moved to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and has progressed on to be Chairman, Dept of Laparoscopic and General Surgery for the past 15 years and an Executive Member of the Management Board.
He is a teacher and examiner in surgery for the National Board of Examination, India and has been given the title of Professor at Ganga Ram Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research.
He has been the President of Association of Surgeons of Delhi and has been actively involved in organizational committees.
He has been associated with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow as Organizing Examiner for IMRCS and has been awarded the FRCS (Hon). He has been examiner for FRCS (INT).
His main interests are in Benign Colorectal surgery. His research interests are the pathophysiology of Haemorrhoidal disease using manometry.
