Yvonne Gibney

Yvonne obtained her first travel medicine qualification in 1986 which further inspired her passion for travel health and travel. She has worked in Southern and West Africa for 13 years in roles that included refugee health, maternal and child health and primary care for NGO’s, local and UK and US Governments.

In the UK she has established and worked in private and NHS travel clinics and as a nurse clinician in GP practice. She enjoys her work with as a travel health educator and vaccine champion for a variety of organisations. She has been involved with the Faculty of Travel Medicine since 2013 and is proud to be a Regional Advisor for the North West.
