Nikki Mepham
Biography
Dr Nikki Mepham is Medical Director at International SOS in the London Assistance Centre, responsible for the delivery of medical assistance services. Nikki oversees a platform of doctors and nurses who provide medical support to International SOS clients globally. Since joining International SOS as a Coordinating Doctor in 2012, she has gained extensive experience in international medical case management, medical support of remote healthcare sites, supporting clients and international assignees in their pre-deployment planning, and the coordination of medical transportations. She became a member of the Faculty of Travel Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow following successful completion of the Diploma in Travel Medicine in 2018. Nikki completed her medical training in South Africa and worked in a remote part of the country for 5 years, initially in the public sector and then as an HIV Physician for an NGO. She later trained in Anaesthetics and completed a Diploma in Anaesthetics in 2010. Nikki moved to London towards the end of 2010 and worked in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care in the NHS, before joining International SOS in 2012.
