End of Life Care in Scotland

05 Feb 2014

Please help to inform discussion on the provision of end of life care in Scotland by completing a short survey issued by a short life working group reporting to the Scottish Government’s Living and Dying Well National Advisory Group.

The Scottish Government’s Living and Dying Well National Advisory Group (LADW NAG) is currently looking at current practice in end of life care among clinicians in Scotland.

A Short Life Working Group (SLWG), chaired by GP Palliative Care Facilitator for NHS Lanarkshire, Dr Rosalie Dunn has been asked to report on the provision of end of life care in Scotland. The group has members from Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland, Scottish Government and the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care.

The group are keen to hear about the experience of clinicians who have used the Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP) or other end of life care pathways. Their findings will be used to help inform the work required to address the issues raised in Scotland.

We encourage you to complete this short anonymous survey to help inform the work of the SLWG before they report back to LADW NAG.
