Glasgow International Airport is located about 20 minutes from the city centre with frequent domestic and international services. A taxi terminal and airport bus service is located immediately outside the airport building.
Prestwick International Airport and Edinburgh International Airport are both less than an hour away from Glasgow City Centre. Prestwick Airport is served by a train line that provides frequent services to and from the city.
Glasgow is served by two railway stations – Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Station. Both are within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the College.
The College provides off street bicycle racks and shower facilities for anyone wishing to travel to the conference by bicycle. Glasgow City Council also runs a public cycle hire scheme which offers 400 bikes for hire at 31 locations across the city. Details about how to register can be found on the Nextbike website.
Glasgow is a beautiful city with stunning architecture and exceptional parks. It is very easy to get around on foot and the locals are very helpful! We have created 15, 30 and 60 minute walks from the College for anyone who would like to go for a walk during their visit.
Glasgow is easy to get to by car although the motorways can get congested during peak times. A number of clearly signposted carparks are accessible and within walking distance of the College. There is a two-hour parking restriction on all city centre streets.
