Ms Jayne Robbie has served as Dean of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine since November 2024 and is also a Trustee of the College. She has recently joined the Heritage Committee and is active in Regional Adviser engagement, contributing to the College’s strategy, organisational direction and major decision-making, while gaining deeper insight into the needs of Fellows and Members.
Ms Robbie is a senior lecturer and course lead for the MSc in advancing practice in peripheral vascular disease at Birmingham City University, United Kingdom, and a diabetes specialist podiatrist at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, United Kingdom. With more than 25 years’ experience in high-risk foot care, she continues to work clinically one day a week within a diabetes foot multidisciplinary clinic. She also holds leadership roles across several diabetic foot organisations and charities, reflecting her commitment to improving patient outcomes and supporting education and mentorship.
Her combined clinical and academic experience brings a strong interprofessional perspective to her work with the College.
