Mr Euan McGivern

Euan McGivern qualified as a podiatrist from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2011 and later completed a Master’s degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery in 2019. He has extensive experience within the NHS, working in specialist and advanced practice roles across musculoskeletal podiatry, clinical education, and orthopaedics before transitioning into management in 2020.

Euan has held leadership positions in three Scottish NHS podiatry services and was appointed Head of Podiatry for NHS Lothian in 2024. Passionate about developing people and services to improve patient outcomes, he focuses on designing accessible, inclusive care models that meet the needs of all service users, particularly those who face barriers to accessing podiatry.

Alongside his leadership responsibilities, Euan maintains clinical interests in musculoskeletal podiatry, nail surgery, and the use of local anaesthetics.
