Mr Drummond Mansbridge

Mr Mansbridge is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Glasgow. He has been an active and engaged member of the College for many years, initially contributing to postgraduate education as Deputy and then Director of Post Graduate Surgical Education. He also holds a Diploma in Post Graduate Medical Education from the College, reflecting his longstanding commitment to surgical training and professional development.

He now serves as Honorary Treasurer, a role that places him at the centre of financial oversight and strategic planning for the College. In addition, he is a member of the Executive Board and continues his service on College Council, contributing to governance and decision making at the highest level. Mr Mansbridge also sits on the Audit and Remuneration Committee, supporting robust financial and organisational practice, and is a Board member for 1599 at the Royal College. Through these roles, he brings extensive clinical, educational and leadership experience to the wider work of the College.
