Albert Yeung has been the Consultant in Dental Public Health of NHS Lanarkshire since 2007. He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer of the University of Glasgow and also a Professional Adviser to the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.
Originally from Hong Kong, Albert studied dentistry in Glasgow. He has a diverse background of working experience in dentistry in the UK, including general dental practice, hospitals, community dental service and teaching in dental schools.
Albert is the current Chair of the Scottish Council of the British Dental Association and President of its West of Scotland Branch. He is also the current Chair of the Specialty Advisory Committee for Dental Public Health. Albert is co-editor of the Oxford Dictionary of Dentistry (Second Edition) and a Past President of the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry.
He has served our College as Director of Dental Faculty Regional Advisors Board, Member of Dental Education and Professional Development Board, and Examiners for ISFE and MFDS.
