Dr Morven McElroy

Dr McElroy has supported the College in several key roles, including serving as Honorary Librarian and acting as a Trustee. Through these positions, she has contributed to the development of College strategy, helped shape organisational direction and played an active part in major decision-making processes. Her involvement has given her valuable insight into the work of the College and the needs of its Fellows and Members.

As a Consultant Geriatrician working on the frontline, Dr McElroy has a clear understanding of the pressures facing the NHS and the challenges experienced by those delivering patient care. She also serves as an NHS Associate Director of Medical Education and is a lead for Widening Access to Medicine, roles that reflect her strong commitment to supporting trainees, broadening participation and improving opportunities within the profession. Her clinical and educational experience enables her to bring a balanced, informed perspective to her work with the College.
