Overview
Join us in Glasgow or online at our annual travel medicine conference where we will bring together leading voices in travel health to explore practical challenges, emerging threats, and historical legacies in the field.
The day will begin with sessions on cognitive bias in travel consultations and encounters with dangerous wildlife! A special focus on David Livingstone’s legacy, by the Immediate Past Dean, includes a keynote lecture on Livingston's role in the abolition of slavery. The afternoon sessions address current global health concerns such as Mpox, measles, and Chikungunya, followed by insights into expedition and extreme environment medicine.
Our 2025 annual conference will be of interest to all practitioners working in travel health and related specialties. The conference is an opportunity for delegates to come together, hear about and discuss a wide range of current topics of interest within the field of travel health.
