If you wish to apply for a supporting statement from the College, you should submit a copy of your application forms to nominations@rcpsg.ac.uk by 1700 on Friday, 22 January. Your application will then be considered by the College Distinction Awards Committee and you will be informed of the Committee’s decision in late February. You should apply for a renewal if you received your current award in the 2017 round or if your award was last renewed in 2016.

The applications considered to be suitable by the College are then forwarded to the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges for scoring, ranking, and subsequent submission, as appropriate, to ACCEA.

Applications for renewal of a Platinum award should be submitted online directly to ACCEA. However, a supporting statement may also be sought from College for a Platinum renewal in the same way as for Bronze, Silver and Gold.
