Professor Larry Goodyer

Professor Larry Goodyer is Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy Practice at De Montfort University and served as Head of the Leicester School of Pharmacy from 2003 to 2015. He is currently Course Leader for the Diploma in Travel Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Professor Goodyer helped establish Nomad Travel medical services in 1989 and was a Director of the company for 25 years, contributing to the development of travel medicine services over several decades. He has lectured and taught extensively in travel medicine and has published widely in research and educational papers, books and articles.

With a long academic career and involvement in travel medicine since its early development, he brings considerable expertise, experience and academic rigour to the College Diploma, supporting the education and development of travel medicine practitioners.
