The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is seeking to appoint UK-based Examiners to participate in the Surgical Fellowship Examination in Ophthalmology (FRCS Ophthalmology).
The examination consists of a range of written, orals, and clinicals and is offered in various centers around the world.
As an examiner, you will participate in a range of activities, including question writing, standard setting, and face-to-face examining - some of which attracts CPD points. Full training is provided. Ophthalmology Examiners are involved in all aspects of the examination. Physician examiners are required to support the written and oral components.
Applications are open to Ophthalmologists or Physicians who hold or have held full consultant status post-CCST or post completion of equivalent postgraduate medical specialty training; or to SAS doctors who have completed CESR or Portfolio Pathway.
