Overview

The Pulpotomy and Hall Crown course: Update on caries management in primary dentition & management of molar incisor hypomineralisation aims to help you update and apply your knowledge in terms of caries management in primary dentition and management of molar incisor hypomineralisation. This course takes place in-person and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Learning outcomes

By attending this course, you’ll be able to: 

  • apply knowledge gained by using a case based approach
  • perform pulpotomy and place a hall crown effectively in simulated conditions
  • aware of clinical implications and management of molar incisor hypomineralisation

Course will include

Lecture and case based discussion approach to provide teaching on both caries management in primary dentition which would include pulp therapy and Hall crown technique. There is also hands on opportunity to perform these techniques to improve your confidence in clinical practice. Hints and tips for management strategies will also be covered. The course will also cover diagnosis and management of incisors and molars affected by molar incisor hypominerlisation. Aesthetic management of anterior teeth affected by this condition will also be covered.

Who is this course for? 

The Pulpotomy and Hall Crown is aimed at: 

  • clinicians in their early years of training (core trainees, vocational dental trainees)
  • clinicians in their early years of practice or those who would want to reinforce their skills ( general dentists)
