Over 100 health and care organisations call for staffing forecasts in the NHS long-term workforce plan

Over 100 health and care organisations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, have signed a letter to the Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt in support of publishing the NHS long-term workforce plan in full – including assessments of how many staff will be needed to keep pace with demand.

Obituary: Jim Rennie

It is with great sadness but happy memories that we are reporting the death of one of our dental fellows and past secretary of our Faculty of Dental Surgery James (Jim) Rennie. Few dentists in Scotland will not have known or heard of Jim, who was larger than life both professionally and at a personal level.
