Overview
This course is split into a morning and afternoon session.
The morning session concentrates on exam technique and knowledge where attendees will be given the opportunity to participate in small group workshops focussing on the different OSCE stations found in the examination. Attendees will also be briefed on the importance of communication skills and how they contribute to the way candidates are assessed.
The afternoon session will be a mock OSCE where a series of stations will cover clinical and procedural skills, applied surgical science and critical care, anatomy and surgical pathology and communication skills. Following the assessment component, individual feedback from experienced RCPSG Examiners will be given.
Please note that this course is not open to those taking the upcoming Intercollegiate MRCS Part B (OSCE) Examination, in Trivandrum with RCPSG.
Successful candidates of MRCS Part B (OSCE) Examination will be eligible to become a Member of our College.
