Overview

Oral surgery frequently involves managing complex pathology, anatomical variation and clinical uncertainty. Many of the most valuable lessons arise from challenging cases, complications and evolving evidence. This year's Glasgow Oral Surgery Symposium: Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT), focuses on practical decision-making, surgical techniques, emerging therapies and critical thinking that help clinicians improve outcomes and minimise morbidity.

Through a series of focused lectures, speakers will share insights drawn from real clinical challenges across dentoalveolar surgery, oral pathology, radiology and pain management, offering delegates practical knowledge that can be directly applied in daily practice.
