As a Scottish trainee you can now attend multiple conferences for a one-off payment of £150 which can be redeemed from the trainee's study budget. The scheme allows attendance at up to 4 specialist conferences, please visit the conference webpage for details of which events are applicable.
Study leave
Trainees should apply for study leave via NES Scotland Deanery as per any other study request. Once the study leave has been granted, please note your study leave number and visit our event lisiting page to choose the specialist conferences you wish to attend.
How to register
- Browse the RCPSG event listing page for details of the applicable conferences within the Block Grant Scheme
- Email the coordinator using the details at the bottom of the conference page to register, quoting your Study Leave ID number
- The coordinator will provide details on how to complete payment and confirm the booking, along with the additional conferences available to book
