College Fellows recognised in ‘Queens Birthday Honours’

A number of College Fellows have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2017. The honours list recognises the achievements of extraordinary people from across the UK.
A number of College Fellows have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2017. The honours list recognises the achievements of extraordinary people from across the UK.
Those awarded include:
- Surgeon Vice Admiral Alasdair Walker FRCS(Glasg) was made a Companion of the Order of Bath (CB)
- Colonel Mark Sheridan FRCP(Glasg) was awarded the Queen’s Volunteer Reserve Medal
- Professor Brenda Gibson FRCP(Glasg) was awarded an OBE for service to child healthcare
- Neil Baker was awarded an OBE for services to podiatry
