“Autism – A booklet for parents, carers and families of children and young people with autism” is available on the SIGN website
The booklet is for parents/carers of children and young people up to the age of 18 who:
- have already been diagnosed with autism
- may be going through diagnosis
The booklet which can be viewed here explains the recommendations in a clinical guideline produced by the Scottish Intercollegiate Guideline Network (SIGN), about:
- getting assessed and diagnoses for autism, and
- the approaches that can help
