The Senior Fellows’ Club (SFC), established in 1976 as the College Seniors Club, is a vibrant and valued part of the College life. It is open to Fellows and Members of the College, across its disciplines, who have retired from substantive practice. Retired Fellows/Members of the other UK Physician and Surgeon Colleges are also welcome to join. Membership is currently free of charge.
The SFC meets in the College on seven afternoons each session, monthly from October to April. The meetings are centred on a programme of lecture presentations on a wide range of topics, all delivered by Club members. Four of the lectures are preceded by a very reasonably-priced drinks reception and lunch, the others being followed by coffee/tea.
All meetings take the form of hybrid events, the in-person element being supplemented by webinar transmission of the lectures which enables retired College Fellows/Members to be part of the SFC from their own homes anywhere in the world.
