How to pay your membership fee

If you have a UK bank account, you can pay by a single or monthly direct debit. The majority of our eligible members find this the most convenient way to pay.

Credit/Debit Card

You can pay by card online via the member dashboard.

Other Payment Methods

We encourage our members to pay by Direct Debit or credit/debit cards, but you can still pay your subscription fees offline. Payments done via cheque, bank transfer and BACS require more time to be processed and you may not have access to your benefits during that time.

What matters to you?

My passion has always been sports and physical activities which have included rugby, football, athletics, swimming and martial arts. I originally completed a BSc in Recreation Studies and Sociology in 1993, and became a certified swimming and fitness instructor, which led me to gain widespread experience of teaching and improving the quality of life of both adults and children, including those with disabilities. It is these experiences which have steered me towards healthcare, where I have really enjoyed sharing my knowledge to help optimise participation and performance in sports and physical activities of all age groups. More recently I completed the PGCert in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary's University to further develop my skills, and through drawing on all my experiences, I take great pleasure in using holistic methods to restore hope and confidence in patients presenting with challenging conditions.

If you could change anything what would it be?

I would love to see everyone have equal access to the health services they require in a timely manner.

Belinda Longhurst

What matters to you?

I`m passionate about promoting the registered charity Forgotten Feet , for which I am a Trustee and volunteer coordinator for the 60+ services we have across the UK. Our kind volunteers include; Podiatrists, Foot Health Professionals, Nurses, Occupational Therapists and surgeons - all working together to offer free and regular footcare to the homeless and socially isolated.

What motivates you?

The `light-bulb` moment I witness when a student is inspired to become a life-long learner, motivates me to become a consistently effective facilitator of learning. I am, by nature, self-critical and this reflective attribute drives me to keep up to date with the latest scientific evidence in podiatry and dermatology.

Prof Richard David Leigh

What matters to you?

Limb preservation for people with limb and life threatening acute foot conditions.

What motivates you?

My main motivations are; improving outcomes for people with limb threatening disease, research to improve the outcomes for the future and driving national discussion for joint learning, assessment and best practice.

If you could change anything what would it be?

To have fully commissioned and integrated multidisciplinary foot teams across community and secondary care.
