The enduring purpose of our College is to inspire, support and nurture our members to enable them to deliver the highest possible standards of care for their patients
This purpose is fulfilled in a way that is aligned to our core values of:
Community: working together to support one another to succeed.
Inclusivity: demonstrating care, kindness civility, generosity and mutual respect.
Innovation: proactively challenging current thinking.
Integrity: never compromising on our core purpose, our standards and quality.
Inspiration: leading by example to maximise potential and affect change.
In 2020 the College updated it's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy. This policy reinforces the College’s purpose and values. A supporting ED&I Action Plan was created and sets out how the College puts the new policy into practice during 2020-22 and beyond – monitoring and reviewing all aspects of equality, diversity and inclusion, and taking action to address discrimination and inequality.
The ethos of treating all people fairly and with respect is inherent in putting this policy into practice.
