Through our work with the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change we are helping to raise awareness of the key challenges ahead, particularly in relation to the health impact of climate change.
This includes:
Publication of an editorial in VOICE calling for world leaders to take emergency action to transform societies and limit climate change, restore biodiversity, and protect health. The College joined more than 220 international journals including The Lancet, East African Medical Journal, Chinese Science Bulletin, New England Journal of Medicine, International Nursing Review, National Medical Journal of India, British Medical Journal, and many others
Adding our signature to the Healthy Climate Prescription letter delivered to the world’s leaders at COP26
Hosting a networking event for political and health leaders to meet and discuss action on climate change and health during COP26
