Mr Owens Iguodala is a Special Care Dentistry Registrar in Bedfordshire, England, working with the Community Dental Services Community Interest Company. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2020 and subsequently completed vocational training in Fife, Scotland, followed by Dental Core Training across public dental services, oral and maxillofacial surgery at NHS Forth Valley, Scotland, and paediatric dentistry at Glasgow Dental School, Scotland. Prior to his dental career, he trained and practised as a pharmacist.
Since obtaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and joining the College as a Member in 2022, he has taken on an active role, serving as Chair of the Dental Trainee Committee and contributing as a member of the Professional Skills and Education Board. Beyond his clinical work, his professional interests focus on early career leadership and management and clinical informatics. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Practice, Management and Education and has completed the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management Chief Dental Officer (England) Clinical Fellowship, as well as the Healthcare Leadership Academy Scholarship Programme, where he now serves as faculty.
