Mr Matthew Fitzpatrick has contributed to the podiatry profession through senior clinical, academic and leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Royal College of Podiatry, where he supported strategic development and national decision-making.
With more than 20 years of experience across NHS and independent practice, Mr Fitzpatrick brings a strong frontline perspective as a Consultant Podiatrist. His work focuses on improving outcomes for patients with lower limb conditions, combining detailed assessment, evidence-based management and advanced imaging to support mobility, function and quality of life.
He is committed to collaborative, patient-centred care, with expertise in musculoskeletal conditions, diagnostic and interventional injections, and advanced orthotic management. Appointed as an NHS Consultant in 2016, he also holds an academic role as Associate Professor in Podiatric Practice, Karachi, helping to ensure alignment with current research. Mr Fitzpatrick holds two Fellowships, including a Fellowship of the Royal College of Podiatry.
