Mr Jamie Dickie originally graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Glasgow in 2009. He then completed vocational training and postgraduate posts in hospital and community health services. During this time, he also completed membership examinations for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Faculty of Dental Surgery.
In 2014, he began specialist training as a Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Specialty Registrar in Restorative Dentistry. During specialist training, he completed both a Master of Education in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and a Doctor of Philosophy study focused on the validity of longitudinal assessment within dental education. Upon completion of specialist training, he gained a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the College and was appointed Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School.
He currently serves as Director of Dental Education for the College.
