  • Medicine24 is the flagship medical conference of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. This two-day conference provides up-to-date information on the optimal management of acutely ill patients within the first 24 hours of admission. Now in its fifth year, Medicine24 2019 will cover the most common situations that present in busy receiving wards, and will include updates in a range of medical specialties:

    • Cardiology
    • Working with other Disciplines
    • Rheumatology
    • Haematology
    • Endocrinology and Diabetes
    • Stroke and Migraine
    • Adverse Reactions  

    This year the conference will be held at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC). This venue is Strathclyde's world-class research facility and was recently named the UK's Best Academic Venue at the 2018 Meetings and Incentive Travel Awards.

    Poster Competition

    There will be a prize awarded for the best clinical educational or research poster, related to the initial management of patients in general medicine or a medical speciality.

    Successful authors will be required to register for and attend the Conference and will be expected to attend their poster at allocated times during the event to discuss with the review panel.
